Dhruva Holdings — Building Long-Term Assets

Sports Infrastructure

Building what the talent deserves.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Bihar has a younger population than most Indian states. The median age is under twenty-five. The state produces athletes who compete at state and national levels, often with minimal access to training infrastructure. Athletes from Bihar routinely travel to other states to find coaching, facilities, and competitive opportunities that do not exist at home.

The gap is not in talent. It is in facilities. Indoor courts, covered tracks, coaching academies, strength and conditioning centres, and tournament-grade venues are concentrated in Patna and largely absent elsewhere. For a state of over 120 million people, this represents not just an underinvestment in sport but an underinvestment in the generation that will define Bihar’s next three decades.

OUR APPROACH

01

Indoor Sports Facilities

Multi-sport indoor complexes in tier-2 towns that serve daily community use, not once-a-year events. Badminton, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, and martial arts under one roof.

02

Coaching Academies

Structured coaching programmes with certified trainers, progression pathways, and partnerships with state and national sports bodies.

03

Tournament Hosting

Creating a calendar of district and regional competitions that give athletes competitive exposure without leaving the state.

CURRENT STATUS

Sports infrastructure is currently in Dhruva Holdings’ feasibility and research phase. We are analysing facility density, sport participation data, and community demand in Saran and surrounding districts. Target activation: 2028.
